Dr. Feltis

Optometrist

Dr. Skylar Feltis is committed to helping patients achieve clear, comfortable vision while making every visit welcoming and enjoyable. Friendly, confident, and hardworking, she enjoys connecting with patients and helping them see their best throughout every stage of life.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Saskatchewan before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2009. As part of her clinical training, she completed an externship in Houston, Texas, gaining experience in a variety of patient care settings.

Dr. Feltis enjoys all aspects of optometry and values the opportunity to care for patients with diverse vision needs. Outside the clinic, she stays active through sports and spends much of her free time coaching and supporting her children in their many athletic activities, where she enjoys watching both them and their teammates grow and develop.

Dr. Toews

Optometrist

Dr. Warren Toews has been providing compassionate, comprehensive eye care since earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2006. Before pursuing optometry, he completed undergraduate studies in microbiology at the University of Saskatchewan.

Known for his optimistic outlook and thoughtful approach, Dr. Toews enjoys caring for patients at every stage of life. His clinical interests include primary eye care, children’s vision, and ocular disease management. He finds the greatest fulfillment in helping patients achieve their best possible vision while building lasting relationships with families, colleagues, and industry partners.

When he is away from the clinic, Dr. Toews enjoys running, skiing, reading, and spending time with his wife, Cyndy, and their 2 children, Finnley and Jett.

Dr. Sherin

Optometrist

Dr. David Sherin believes that great eye care starts with understanding each patient’s unique needs and goals. Calm, thoughtful, and always well caffeinated, he enjoys working collaboratively with patients to provide personalized vision care that supports their long-term eye health.

After studying Bioinformatics at the University of Saskatchewan, Dr. Sherin went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2008. Following graduation, he practiced across three Canadian provinces before returning home to Saskatoon in 2019.

Dr. Sherin has clinical interests in contact lens fittings, myopia management, and the prevention and treatment of ocular disease. He is also fluent in both English and French and is happy to provide eye exams and consultations in either language.

When he is away from the clinic, Dr. Sherin enjoys spending time with his 2 daughters, cooking, gardening, snowboarding, lane swimming, attending live music events, and walking his boxer, Mabel.

Dr. Gerwing

Optometrist

Dr. Amy Gerwing is committed to providing compassionate, relationship-focused eye care that helps patients feel heard, understood, and confident in their vision. Warm, thoughtful, and people-oriented, she enjoys getting to know her patients while helping them achieve healthier eyes and clearer sight.

She earned her Bachelor of Science with a double major in Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of Saskatchewan before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in 2023. During her training, she served as both an academic coach and tutor while completing externships at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Las Vegas, a rural ocular disease practice in Illinois, and a dry eye and vision therapy-focused clinic in Vancouver.

Dr. Gerwing has a special interest in dry eye management and has received training in laser and minor surgical procedures. She finds the greatest fulfillment in building meaningful connections with patients and improving their quality of life through better vision and eye health.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Gerwing enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, reading, playing the piano, and creating art.

Dr. Poole

Optometrist

Dr. Natalie Poole is dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centred eye care that is tailored to each individual’s needs. Known for her warm, caring approach and natural curiosity, she enjoys working closely with patients to find solutions that improve their vision, protect their eye health, and enhance their quality of life.

She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2012, where she received the General Proficiency Medal and the Medical Optics General Proficiency Award, First Prize. She also completed an ocular disease externship at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, and later earned an Executive MBA with a focus on health care leadership.

Dr. Poole has a special interest in dry eye therapy, ocular disease prevention, and laser refractive surgery co-management. She particularly enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and their families, caring for them through every stage of life.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Poole enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially with her 2 young children, Luka and Anna, and their beloved boxer, Nikka.

Dr. Leidl

Optometrist

Dr. Katie Leidl is passionate about helping individuals and families enjoy lifelong eye health through compassionate, personalized care. Known for her positive attitude, dedication, and adventurous spirit, she believes that educating patients and focusing on prevention are essential parts of maintaining healthy vision.

She earned her Bachelor of Science, graduating summa cum laude from Iowa Wesleyan College, before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree with honours at the University of Waterloo in 2014. During her training, she volunteered on international eye care missions to Ecuador through Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and to Malawi, Africa, through the Lions Club Hospital, providing vision care to underserved communities.

Dr. Leidl enjoys practicing primary eye care with a special focus on personalized patient counselling, preventive eye care, and overall wellness. She finds it incredibly rewarding to improve quality of life by helping patients and families see clearly and protect their vision for years to come.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Leidl enjoys spending time with her 2 young sons, staying active through sports, exploring the outdoors, travelling, and pursuing personal growth.

Dr. Koroll

Optometrist

Dr. Cassandra Koroll was born and raised in Lake Lenore, Saskatchewan. After completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Saskatchewan, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2010. She graduated with high honours and received the Clinical Achievement Award in recognition of her outstanding clinical performance.

Dr. Koroll enjoys practicing full scope optometry with special interests in dry eye management, myopia management, and specialty contact lens fittings. She finds the greatest fulfillment in detecting ocular disease early and helping preserve her patients’ vision and quality of life through proactive, personalized care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Koroll enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. Whether travelling together or visiting the lake, much of their free time is spent cheering from the sidelines at hockey rinks, ball diamonds, and football fields.
